Priority One – Driving Economic Growth.
Because YOU are our Priority One.
Priority One is the Economic Development Agency for the Bay of Plenty. They needed a brand and key messages that could explain exactly what that meant to new or potential members. Members who were vital in contributing to the initiatives they put in place.
The concept heavily focused on the use of the numeral 1 bringing all the business members together (as one) to drive change. The photoshoot was used to show ‘how we drive change together’. This graphic became key in explaining to new members what they get by becoming a member, and what it is that Priority one does.
In developing the identity, the name gave us a lot of scope for brandplay, both with the numeral 1, and by communicating to members that they are our ‘priority one’. The goal of the identity was to create a simple and professional brand.
The response from Priority One has been one of satisfaction – and membership is increasing all the time. The new membership certificates and the Annual Report have also been very well received. The new identity and surrounding collateral has enabled Priority One to attract new members, attract new business interest (at home and overseas), and ultimately better communicate to all how they are making a difference to the Western Bay of Plenty.
